President’s Letter – December 2019

Dear ACTEAZ Members,

The school year is half over. Every year just seems to go a little bit faster than the one before it. I hope it has been a productive year and that you have been able to accomplish all that you had planned to do.

2020, it seems impossible that this is the upcoming year. A new decade! January also means a new legislative session. Please consider joining our advocacy email list. This is where you will be informed of any earth shaking legislation coming through that will impact CTE. Please use your personal emails not schools. We only send emails when there is something big happening and we need a call to action. We need your voices.

At the association we are hitting the new decade full force. In February we will host the Mid-Winter Conference in Prescott. We are excited at the offering we will have and hope you will be able to attend. “The CTE Classroom and Beyond” is our Summer Conference Theme and we hope to make this conference even better than the past. You will see many changes as we move forward such as a change in locations, schedule changes and new sessions. The dates are July 17 – July 22. We look forward to seeing you all there.

We at the association wish all of you the most wonderful holiday season and a fabulous new year. All of us are working hard for you and are always here to help.
