Rubrics To Increase Student Success

- This class is designed for all CTE teachers.
CTE courses are performance-based. When teachers let students know exactly how their work will be evaluated, the student’s level of performance always improves. Come and participate in a hands-on activity that uses a rubric, determine where the rubric made a positive difference in your performance, and then design a rubric for one of your own student projects with the help of West-MEC specialists.
Have available an assignment for one of your student projects and your current grading criteria for that project to help get this practical day started.
NOTE: There is homework associated with this class to earn 1 ADE credit (15 hours).
