Outstanding ACTEAZ Affiliate of the Year

ACOVA is recognized as the ACTEAZ Affiliate of the year for it continuous support of ACTEAZ and continual support of administrators, counselors, and teachers across the state of Arizona. ACOVA actively participates to increase the quality of Career Technical Education Programs and works with Arizona Department of Education, CTE in the field and the Arizona Curriculum Consortium. ACOVA Officers are CTE Directors themselves so they are always willing to support their statewide fellow directors who have questions about procedures or questions on CTE Management in general.

For eighteen years, ACOVA has partnered with ACTEAZ to host the Mid-Winter Leadership Conference at the Prescott Resort and Conference Center. This valued partnership working with ACOVA provides additional training to our CTE Administrators. This event is always well attended, and attendees look forward to this conference each year. ACOVA offers Camp M & M at CTE Conferences statewide. These sessions have been hosted by ACOVA for over twenty years to assist statewide administrators with information and guidance on their many responsibilities.

ACOVA also has a position on the ACTEAZ Board of Directors and offers support and leadership ideas. Each year at the ACTE Summer Conference, ACOVA offers sessions for CTE Administrators and hosts their ACOVA Annual Meeting at the Conference. In the Fall at the Prescott Resort ACOVA also hosts a conference for administrators. ACOVA has won this award multiple times and ACTEAZ thanks them for their Leadership and their partnership with ACTEAZ. ACOVA sponsors multiple student scholarships each year and their generosity is noted and appreciated.
