CTE Administrative Asst. of the Year

The question at the Arizona Department of Education/Career Technical Education, is how do you manage CTE without a Kathy Bowersock!
Kathy is honest, supportive, collaborative, utilizes effective communication skills, and is essential to the delivery of CTE for the Arizona Department of Education. By doing so, Kathy ensures that the AZ CTE Strategic Plan as well as the Perkins V State Plan is formatted as required by the AZ CTE Director/Assistant Supt. of CTE.

Kathy is also responsible for the CTE website including posting the documents on the official website and works with U.S. Presidential Scholars Program with the CTE Director. Mrs. Bowersock is the main contact and point person for distributing information on behalf of all team leaders in CTE at the Arizona Dept. of Education. Kathy also oversees announcing the quarterly administrators’ meetings. She keeps the CTE Statewide Administrators list updated. According to Cathy Raymond CTE Director/ Assistant Supt. of CTE , I cannot say how much I depend on Kathy Bowersock to keep the department running smoothly by constantly communicating with her and individual members. Her expertise and history of the department is so important and is greatly appreciated. Kathy Bowersock always demonstrates the best example of customer service to all.
