President’s Letter – August 2019

Dear ACTEAZ Members,

It is hard to believe summer has come and gone and a new school year is upon us. I hope you have all had time to rest and rejuvenate.

It is exciting to think about the new school year and the opportunities that lie ahead of us. What new faces will we meet? Who will stand out in our classes as future leaders? Who will need that little bit of extra help? Our schools are filled with challenges and opportunities. We have to chance to make a difference in a student’s life and they have a chance to make a difference in ours. Our students are blessed to have so many hard working educators standing behind them and nudging them towards success.

As the year rolls forward we are optimistic about the upcoming year as an association. We hope you will utilize our resources on our web site acteaz.org. We invite you to join our advocacy email with your personal email so that you can know right away of legislative issues affecting CTE. We will continue to host fabulous learning opportunities for you through our Mid-winter and Summer Conferences. We are at your service so please let us know how we can help.

Enjoy the year and remember to take time for yourself and families. It does get crazy and exhausting, but you’ve got this!
