Dear ACTEAZ Members,

It look like fall is finally here and just maybe we can start enjoying the cooler temperatures.  Believe it or not it is already time to start planning for next year’s summer conference. Everyone is busy behind the scenes getting things in place to launch the big event.

As we all know the budget is still looming over us so we are hoping you are contacting your legislators and community members to invite them to visit your campuses.  We’d like to encourage you to share the news of your visit with us. You can always send us your news to [email protected], our facebook or twitter pages, as well as, the I am CTE website.   We continue to partner with the Leadership Continuum to provide you with materials and data needed to showcase CTE.   We have sample invitation letters and contact information to invite your legislators available here.  Again, we are most powerful when we stand together… We are CTE!

In closing, I just want to reiterate my appreciation for all the hard work that you all put in.  Whatever your role is in the education world, I know it is not easy. Days can be challenging, but it is you who touch the lives of our kids every day that truly make a difference.   You are important and appreciated!
