AzHOSA Partners with FBLA for its First Chapter Officer Leadership Camp

On September 27-29, 2012 HOSA – Future Health Professionals joined Future Business Leaders of America’s Arizona members and advisors for the first HOSA Leadership Camp in Prescott, AZ. This leadership development training brought together 5 HOSA and 33 FBLA chapters from high schools throughout Arizona for three-days of dynamic teambuilding and youth leadership development. TriLeadership Resources led the training, which included communication workshops, teambuilding and networking activities. Members were checking to see if they “Have the Nerve” to step forward and lead. Leadership development activities led by state officers, the HOSA/FBLA’s Talent Show and Crazy Contests were part of the experience. The Camp was a sell-out and members and advisors from across the state have learned the value of this leadership camp experience! Look for the AzHOSA Leadership Camp next year!

Members were introduced to the new AzHOSA regions and events that will occur throughout the year, including the upcoming FLEX Conference (Fall Leadership Extravaganza!) on November 9 that will be co-hosted with HOSA – Future Health Professionals and Future Business Leaders of America Arizona and will draw nearly 3,000 high school students from across the state!
