ACTEAZ Award Recipient Kristina Guy Wins 2024 ACTE Counseling Award

We are proud to announce that ACTEAZ Award Winner Kristina Guy (West-MEC) won the ACTE 2024 Counseling and Career Development Professional Award!

Having earned the 2022 ACTEAZ Career Guidance Award, Kristina qualified for the 2023 ACTE Region V Counseling and Career Development Award. Following her success in the Region V competition, she then became eligible to compete for the 2024 ACTE National award.

She was honored during the ACTE CareerTech VISION awards gala on Nov. 29, 2023 in Phoenix, AZ.

Midwinter Leadership Conference Updates

The 2024 Midwinter Leadership Conference will take place Jan. 31 – Feb. 2, 2024 at the Prescott Resort and Conference Center in Prescott, AZ.

Attendees

Attendee registration is $325 and covers meals on Feb. 1st (lunch and dinner) and Feb. 2nd (breakfast and lunch). To register as an attendee, click here.

On-site registration and badge pickup will begin Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 3 p.m.

Exhibitors

Exhibitor booths start at $375 for in-person booths and $200 for virtual booths. For exhibitor registration, click here.

2024 CTE Month® Video Contest Ends Jan. 8

Last call for submissions! The 2024 ACTEAZ CTE Month video contest ends Monday, Jan. 8.

CTE students are encouraged to promote Career and Technical Education by creating a video public service announcement (PSA) to support CTE Month by increasing awareness and understanding of the benefits of CTE. The grand prize is $500.

***All videos and included forms must be submitted by Jan. 8, 2024.***

Winners will be announced February 1, 2024.

The 2024 Arizona CTE Summer Conference takes place July 11 – 17, 2024 at the Hilton El Conquistador and Westin La Paloma in Tucson, AZ.

2024 ACTEAZ Award nominations are now open!

It’s important to recognize the hardworking teachers, administrators, counselors, business partners, and staff that we work with every day.

ACTEAZ Scholarships

2024 ACTEAZ Scholarship applications are now open!

Arizona high school and post-secondary CTE students are encouraged to apply. Scholarship amounts range from $500 to $2,500 per student. Students must be nominated by an ACTEAZ member.

2024 AZME/ABEA Winter Conference

Arizona business and marketing teachers are encouraged to attend the 2024 AZME/ABEA Winter Conference, which takes place Feb. 8 – 10, 2024 at the Poco Diablo Resort in Sedona, AZ.
