Executive Director’s Letter – January 2021

Dear ACTEAZ Members,

I want to wish a Happy New Year to all our ACTEAZ Members and Industry Partners. It is my hope that we shall all move past the struggles of last year and progress into a period of stability and growth in 2021.

ACTEAZ is already moving forward and is proud to announce the “Find Your Pot of Gold” virtual conference on March 4th – 5th. It is our goal that attendees will find value in the many professional development opportunities that our sessions will provide. With this conference being virtual, sessions will be mostly recorded and therefore available for an extended time period. We will still provide scheduled times for interacting with exhibitors through virtual showcases, as well as, featuring a keynote and networking type sessions. I’d like to remind you all that February is CTE Month! While it may be difficult to host showcases this year in the classroom, we hope you can share virtual events, or recaps of events and recognition through social media throughout the month. You will be able find some updated marketing materials from ACTEAZ around mid January.

I hope you all enjoy the redesign of the ACTEAZ Website. With the addition of CTE Leads, our members will be able to easily find even more information in all aspects of the CTE community.

I would like to thank all of you for your strength, wisdom, adaptability and caring for each other as we create and share our purpose of Career Technical Education for our students and the community. You all are meeting and exceeding those expectations during these creative times and I am humbled by your efforts.
